We recommend hand washing at 30 degrees or cooler, especially the first few times (just to make sure there’s no dye running).
For the first few washes you should:
- After this and once you're sure there’s no excess dye running you can continue wash your dyed clothes with similar colours in cool water with mild detergent.
Please always wash darker colour sets (i.e. the Acid Red) separately to other clothes until you are confident there is no more excess colour running.
We use very high quality industrial dyes and fixident to prevent colour bleeding and ensure the colours remain distinctive after many washes.

Please note, as part of the hand-dying process the items are washed 2-3 times post dying to help ensure colours don’t run, and then conditioned as well so will smell amazing when you receive them!
TIP: Fewer washes and low cold water will increase the longevity of colours
Because the cotton isn’t originally these colours there will overtime be some slight fading to the products through wear, leading to a more marbled look as the original colour (generally white) comes through (but they still look great!)
With some of the darker colour dyes you might also notice some very small pigmentation coming through - this is just the elastane threads in the sock that doesn't dye in the process.
