We recommend hand washing in cold water to maintain the vivid colours.
TIP: Fewer washes will increase the longevity of colours
If using a washing machine, for the first few washes you should:
- After this you should continue to wash your dyed clothes with similar colours in cool water with mild detergent
Because the cotton isn’t originally these colours there will overtime be some fading to the products through wear, leading to a more marbled look as the original colour (generally white) comes through (but they still look great!)
With some of the darker colour dyes you might also notice some very small white bits coming through - this is just the elastane in the sock that isn't dyed in the process.
We only use very high quality dyes and fixident to prevent colour bleeding and ensure the colours remain distinctive after many washes.

Please note, as a result of the hand-dying process the items have been washed 2-3 times post dying to ensure colours don’t run, and then conditioned so will smell amazing!
